同時にメモリも増設＆デュアルチャンネル化したので、絶対にCPUだけか？といわれると微妙。
でもこれがでかいはず。
クロック数があがったことよりも、ハイパースレッディングの恩恵が大きいのかもしれない。

これによって、例えば毎日15時に行ってるログファイルのZIP圧縮によるLoadAverageの変化が、

After:2009.05.16
となった。ZIP圧縮中、ZIPが片方のスレッドを99.9%まで使い切ってしまうけど、もう一つのスレッドでほかの処理をやってしまうから、待ちプロセスが発生しなくてLoadAverageがほとんど上がらないみたい。
あと、劇的に変化したのがMovableTypeの再構築にかかる時間。
今まではコメント書き込みでタイムアウトが起こってたり、タイムアウトにならないにしても異常に時間がかかってたけど、かなり改善された。
ただ、元々の2.4GHzもHT対応なCPUなので、わざわざ交換しなくともカーネル変えるだけで同じ変化があったんじゃねーのかってのは触れない方向で。
